Synopsis

Ella is trying to find her footing again after ending a long-term relationship and losing her job. Chase is a single dad whose past trauma is keeping him from living his life without even realizing it. The two meet (thanks car trouble!) and while their romance starts with uncertainty, their connection quickly turns to passion.

Trouble finds them when Chase’s ex-girlfriend, and mother of his daughter, returns to town with her boyfriend demanding money–and she’ll do whatever it takes to get it. Chase is determined to keep his daughter and Ella out of the crossfire, but even he doesn’t realize how far she’s willing to go.
